Elizabeth has over decade of experience developing and leading tours and is a Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG) through the National Association of Interpretation (NAI).

She is available for private walking tours of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.  

Specialties include:
-Marquis de Lafayette in Alexandria
-George Washington's Adopted Hometown

Tours are adaptable to fit the needs and interests of your group.

Elizabeth has had the honor of speaking at various historic institutions including the White House Historical Association, The American Revolution Institute of the Society of the Cincinnati, George Washington's Mount Vernon, and the National Park Service.

Specialties include:
-Social history of the Early American Republic (including Lafayette's National Tour)
-Women's history as it pertains to grief and widowhood
-Fathers and daughters in the Early American Republic
